Family physicians and nurse practitioners in the Calgary area can choose from several great options when seeking support for their patients. Click on the dial below to find out more about each one, including when and how to request services.

Who: Patients with conditions that require same day intervention and/or diagnostics, but not hospitalizations and not life-threatening.

- Airdrie urgent care: Lab (limited menu), x-ray. NO U/S or CT onsite. Urgent care Family Physicians and Nurse Practitioners. NO Specialists on site. Urgent MH assessment in the form of single session counselling.
- Cochrane urgent care: Lab (limited menu), x-ray. NO U/S or CT onsite. Urgent care Family Physicians and Nurse Practitioners. NO Specialists on site. Urgent MH assessment in the form of single session counselling.

When:
- Sheldon M Chumir Urgent Care: 365 days a year, 24-hour service. Mental Health hours: seven days a week 8 a.m.–10 p.m.; Social Work hours: Mon-Fri 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
- South Calgary Health Centre: 365 days a year, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Airdrie urgent care: 365 days a year, 24-hour service. Social Work hours: Mon-Fri 8:15 a.m.-2 p.m.; Mental health: Mon-Fri 2-9 p.m., Sat-Sun 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Cochrane urgent care: 365 days a year, 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Mental Health hours: Mon-Fri 12 p.m.-7 p.m., Sat-Sun 10a.m.-5p.m.
- Okotoks urgent care: 365 days a year, 8 a.m.-10p.m. Mental Health hours vary, please call to confirm availability.

Response time: Wait times vary. Patients are triaged and prioritized according to severity of medical concern. Patients are NOT seen on a first come, first served basis.
