As an alternative to addiction medicine tele-advice, providers in the Calgary Zone can submit an eReferral Advice Request for opiate agonist therapy only, and will receive a response back from a specialist within five calendar days.

Non-urgent tele-advice advice is available for the management of patients who experience substance use disorders (opioids, alcohol, methamphetamines, cannabis etc.), as well as behavioural addictions (gambling, sex, pornography, videogaming etc).
Advice is provided over the phone or referrals are made to our centralized clinic and multidisciplinary teams at AHS Adult Addiction Services Calgary.
