What can I enquire about?

  • If your patient’s Medical Oncologist (MO) is not available, the MO on call can assist with issues such as:
  • • Management of cancer related symptoms - new or worsening: pain, nausea, headaches, neurological symptoms, cough, dyspnea, fever, bleeding, constipation, diarrhea, paralysis or swelling of extremity and a new palpable lump/mass
  • • Management of side effects from cancer related therapies (therapies may include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics–antibody therapies, targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitors, and hormonal therapies)
